I thought what the heck...I had a 23% card (paypal visa) with providian I want to transfer.....and applied for a citibank card....never had one and though heck I'd be denied LOL Well, got a 2400 CL to boot! I do not know what my scores are or what they pull but I'm in the 600 range (high most likely). Do they allow balance transfers after I got it?
Just wanted to add after the account was set up I realized it's a 50 annual fee so I called retention and they were very nice...they can't set up the free account until it shows up in their system completely and shows BT offers, etc... but the guy I spoke to is calling me back on Sunday to set it up to a Platinum and to give me my BT options. I hope I have this much great CS from Citibank always! BTW: The guy asked where I got the direct phone no. from to retention LOL....He said most of the time it is calls coming directly from CS and not outside I told him I had connections LOL
