    how long after approval (and verification) does it take for the card to come? And when do they call to verify information?

    When I did the gold card, they called within 3 days I believe and then I had the card in 10 days.

    They are indeed fast. call up and transfer the card to a platinum select if you got $1000 or higher limit, its lower interest, and of course, most prestigous. Unless you want the AA miles :)
