Just pulled a full copy of my Equifax C. R. (They are the only one that has given me grief. I check every 6 mos or so to make sure they haven't messed with me again).

We have a couple of CitiBanks cards. I notice that on both of them (only one has a balance), they pull an Account Review virtually EVERY month. The one we are using (airline miles) was opened in April. There are two inqs in April, 1 in June, 2 in July, 1 in August, 1 Sept, and 1 Oct.

What's with that? Are they trying to catch me doing something unacceptable so they can screw up my rates?

Obviously this doesn't cause any FICO damage, but just the same, the trend is disturbing. We always pay them off every month. What's their problem?

You are not alone my friend ... ALL citibank card holders get monthly ARs from Citi ... and yes they are trying to catch an excuse to jack your rates by monitoring your report constantly ..

I have a Citibank platinum card, and a Citgo gas card, and I get 2 reviews every month ... the more cards you have, the more monthly reviews you will get ...

I am sure GEORGE will spot this thread and will say it helps with BUMPAGE ;)

    j/k

They only seem to bother TU in my case, and it's not every month.

citi jacked my rate for moving a 5.9% BT (large sum) to several small cards 0% for 6 months(duh).

Planetfeedback --> rate lowered and 2.9% for life (no fee,no use needed).

Back to holding balances on citi, they dont mind as long as You dont use your competition lol.
