Hello, I have a Question? I applied for the citi plat select card today and recieved an instant approval for $4800... This would be my lowest CL. Is there any way to ask for a CL increase, Like with amex;s re-review. (If yes - does anyone know of a phone number that i can call to re-review my account within the first 30days)... Second: Has anyone been able to combine there citibank card with there ATT universal card... Thanks a lot.. nmelwani
If you ask Citi for a CL increase, there is no "30 day grace review". It will be submitted as a "referral" and will get you a hard inquiry on one of your credit reports (TU probably). You will know in 24 hours if it was approved. Having said that, I was approved for 2 of the 3 referrals I submitted. It really depends on their computer model of how much overall credit you already have and your stated income. You cannot combine the AT&T Universal Card with the Citibank Plat Select card (or any other Citibank card). The software doesn't allow that - not for another 5 years, I'm told.
What you can do is reapply for another citi card (Examp Citi AA) right now and then combine their limits in the Plat Select.
