They pulled TU, $2000 CL. I can't believe this is happening for me! I'm so excited, I'm ON MY WAY!!

Now I need to re-read those posts about the BDD - that was Citi, wasn't it?

Thank you to everybody at CreditNet!

    Congratulations!!

Which card did you get? The BDD involves applying for a second card, then you can combine them and have one card with the total credit limit.

    Thank you!!!

I got the Silver AA card. From what I've read on the BDD, I think I've missed my window of opportunity to try for the BDD. Maybe I'm misunderstanding the threads, but I thought I needed to apply for two cards at the same time?

    Thank you !!!

It's the Silver AA card. I think I may have missed my window of opportunity to do the BDD? From what I've read here you need to apply for the two cards at the very same time, and I didn't do that. :(

Maybe in a couple of months I'll try.

For ONE INQUIRY you need to do it the same day...or even 2 min apart

    Re: Citibank! BDD

I know this topic gets discussed a lot, but I have a question regarding the Citibank BDD. I have spent a lot of time searching posts and the FAQ. I have found the AAGold card on the Citibank website, but not the AASilver card. I used the links in the FAQ, but they didn't work. Also, it has been a lot of time since those posts, so does the BDD still work? I was thinking of applying for AAGold , but where would I find a link to apply for AASilver? (considering it still works). Are there alternate cards I could apply for?

    AASILVER IS GONE...

But they have a AAGOLD and a AAPLATINUM SELECT

    http://www.citibank.com/us/cards/chooser/

THEY ARE PUSHING "WORLD" CARDS NOW...

Not to belabor the point, but once/if I got approved for both (AA Gold and AA Citi Platinum Select), I would ask to have them combined for a normal "Citi Platinum Select". (Which I'm assuming is different and better than a "Citi Platinum Select AA Advantage."? Or is there a better way?

Please pardon my lack of knowledge, I just want to do this right.

"IF" you get one or both...ask to trade for a "REGULAR" PLATINUM SELECT card with $0.00 annual fee...

"THE FEES ARE JUST MORE THAN I EXPECTED"

I was approved for the AADvantage card...50 annual fee. Didn't want an annual fee so I called and was switched to the Diamond preferred card with no questions asked. No annual fee plus a 4% less interest rate too!

"IF" you don't pay an annual fee...JUST SOCK DRAWER IT and use it 2-4 times a year for $10 in gas...PAY IN FULL (not very hard when it is only $10)

I do not want to keep my providian card. It is an awful card and the CL sucks. I have 2 chase cards and the citibank so I don't need it anymore. Time to move on

The Providian is only like one year old so I doubt it really matters. My Chase cards are much older then it is.

Approved for one or two...TRADE for PLATINUM SELECT...

"SOMEBODY ON-LINE I KNOW DID THE MATH FOR ME...THE COST OF TWO ANNUAL FEES (or one) AND THE AMOUNT I WOULD HAVE TO SPEND IN ONE YEAR JUST DIDN'T ADD UP...I WILL JUST CHARGE THE TICKETS ON THE PLATINUM SELECT AND BE BETTER OFF"

Or some such words...or "I just changed my mind"

    Either way...they will say fine...

BDD--TRANSFER TO PLATINUM SELECT ACCOUNT--EXCEPT ONCE I GOT SOMEONE NEW (or uninformed)
AND HE SAID NO...I SAID CLOSE THE ACCOUNT...HE SAID I HAVE TO TRANSFER YOU TO THE CLOSURE DEPARTMENT AND SHE SAID YES---NO PROBLEM!!!!

I am getting the feeling that the Citi Plat select is tougher to get than the AA cards?
