    Congrats!

What's next? Lowering your ratios and lifting the ban on phone negotiations? ;)

George - you're giving me hope. I've been going back and forth with them. I want to make a large purchase (about $3-$4k) and emailed them to ask them to lower my APR. I'm not paying 12.74% on this amount of $. I have other cards with lower rates I could put it on but thought I'd give this a whirl.

They will not budge. 12.74 is the lowest they offer. Well bullpuckey... I asked them if it's the lowest they offer than where does the 0% for 9 months advertisement come from? They did lower my dh to a wonderful 12.65% recently <see my eyes rolling here??>

Guess I just need to be persistant.. think I might just pay off my $300 balance and let this card sit. Even Target reduced my rate - why is Citi so difficult?

    An annoyed Ozzy.

Saar - thanks for the link - I had missed your original post. I'll have to give that a whirl - nothing to lose, everything to gain. Thanks for sharing that.

    Ozzy.
