Yes. I have reached my maximum credit line for citibank.

I was approved for one last AA Silver card for $4000 Limit, bringing my total to $25000 in credit. The Gold was declined "DUE TO MAXIMUM amount of credit allowable for your income.".

It's game over. I have $25K platinum select now, thanks citibank, and i hope others have just as much luck or better!!

I guess I need more household income or something now.

    I WILL SEE...

I should get my PLATINUM SELECT for $10,000 (this week) and wait a month or two and try THE BACK DOOR AGAIN...(since it is the ONLY way to get a HIGHER CREDIT LIMIT).

    btw, 9/01 approved, 10/01 approved, 1/01 approved

That was my spacing. I could have rolled 9/10 together but wasn't daring enough.

Always apply for two cards at once on bdd, i got the card, and only on inquiry this time.

fiance applied for silver and gold, and got 3 inquiries, a decline for the gold, and no word yet on the silver.

    3 INQUIRES???

BACK DOOR DOUBLE is one inquiry AASILVER/AAGOLD 10 minutes apart...

yes 3 inquiries, and for some reason, all 3 on different days.

He applied for both on 12/31, the results were 1 inquiry on each day, 12/31, 1/1, and 1/3.

We will be sending a letter to Citibank to complain. Telling Equifax does no good. Hopefully if we complain to Citibank, they will remove them or change them to a/r inquiries.

He had very limited inquiries before, now it is his #1 reason code. And his score dropped more than 30 points.

Back door double is not always 1 inquiry. I applied online and was approved for both within minutes of eachother and received two inquiries. Just an FYI. I may have been one of the few, but it does happen.

    HOLIDAY GLITCH???
Did you try TRIPLICATE inquires (one application) with EQUIFAX~~~please remove 2.

...Or do you ASSUME they WON'T remove them?

DUPLICATE AND TRIPLICATE problems are different than asking for ALL INQUIRES TO BE REMOVED...

I've tried this with them before on different inquires, and they wouldn't touch it. My credit union did actually do duplicate inquiries before. Equifax just gave me there standard letter.

    Look for "BACK DOOR DOUBLE"

    I couldn't EVER get in the FRONT DOOR with CITIBANK...(PLATINUM SELECT)...tried 5+ times in 2 years...even so-called "PRE-APPROVED" ones...

...SO THE BACK DOOR DOUBLE...apply in the same hour for AASILVER & AAGOLD only one "HARD" inquiry...when you get the cards, TRADE for PLATINUM SELECT...

I tried for a 3rd card 4 months after the first two and CITI slammed the back door on my damn fingers saying I had the max amount of cards allowed which is BS. I have the Plat. Select and Sony Plat!!

I have had all my citi inquiries removed from experian...

I asked for an investigation as soon as the inquiries posted..

I think Im hitting the wall...

My last citi approval was for only 3500...
