I called Citibank today and spoke with Cleveland, a customer service rep. When pulling up my account, he noted my previous request to have my credit limit reported to experian. He told me that they did report limits. He then put me on hold and called several departments to find out what had happened to my request. He found out that my limit was not reported because Experian did provide a space for them to put that information. Well that may be a cop out but nonetheless, he told me to dispute the item with experian and then they would have to call them for the info and then it would be put on my credit report. That is all the info that I have at this time. Oh yes, Citibank credit limit of $9,000 is on my equifax so the problem is more than likely with experian. roni.
RE: Citibank & Credit Limi Experian damn well has both HC and Credit limit fields in their reports. (high credit) Credit Limit, Balance, etc all on experian. perhaps they don't know how to correctly address the HC and CL fields on their mainframe

There's always the risk that Experian would remove the entire tradeline line, if disputed, either because City won't respond or because Experian won't really investigate your dispute. But given the fact your account is currently open, there is little you can lose: Even if they remove the tradeline altogether, your account is still open, hence will be re-inserted the next time Citi updates your file. RE: Citibank & Credit Limi I think they are obligated to report the details of my account and not select what they donot want to report. roni.
RE: Citibank & Credit Limi Yes they do i am looking right at it, it is between responsibility and recent balance/payment. And I have had my first citibank since 11/99 and they have NEVER reported my credit limit, they also don't seem to report Penney's
