After asking I don't know how many times (and giving up) for a limit increase...DENIED~~DENIED~~DENIED...my limit was increased by $3,400 TODAY (new statement). THE ONLY WAY I GOT MY CARD TO BEGIN WITH, WAS BDD, THEN HAD TO DO A 1/2 BDD TO GET A LIMIT INCREASE... OH WELL...guess I will take it and RUN!!!
You finally got some respect! Congrats, I know you have alot of credit already, but I am sure you still get that little thrill to see an increase.
Target turned me down on their store card and on my next statement they upped it $200. I know I know it still sucks but hey for target that is really generous.
Oh George, I forgot to worn you that they had finally lost it. After my ranting and raving about never receiving an increase for the 9 years that I have had the card. It was increased from $600 to $5000. But, alas, I don't qualify for the stupid gas card. My debt is at 38%, and they consider this too much.
george, have you been on pfb lately your letters are great and so are the nutty comments that always seem to follow ...........
No...not for me...(NO RESULTS...SO I DON'T WASTE MY TIME) but I still make a COMMENT OR 2...and still get FLAMED!!! I am not saying others should not use PFB...it just does not work for me!!! "UYGF"
I agree that something is going on with Citibank. I had an account with them that was closed by them 1 to 2 years ago since I was with CCCS at the time. I quit that business and set up a payment plan with Citi directly to get the acct caught up. The account has remained closed all this time. Anyway, I pulled TU and ExP today and guess what? The account is now reading as Open and paying as agreed?!! Something is definitely up over there. Not that I'm complaining.
George, is it your 1 year anniversay with Citi? I ask because hubby also went round and round with them for an increase...DENIED, DENIED, DENIED. But on his one year anniversary, several thousand increase just popped up... on 2 different Citi cards.
Hi George-- A little off topic, but I am glad that someone else here has had the same (zero) luck with PFB as I. I gave it 3 tries with 3 different companies, hoping that it was the magic bullet others claimed, but all 3 times just got a form letter reply for my troubles. I have much better luck with live people and or CRR letters. C
