Hi everyone....after finally closing on my new house, I applied for a Citibank AAdvantage Card - I was denied because of the number of delinquencies....They say Equifax is reporting 4 30-days which is incorrect. I actually have 2 30-days, and 1 60-days late...but they are all over 2 years old. I'm disputing with Equifax, but am wondering if anyone has had success in getting them to look at the age of the delinquencies???? (I have 2 other prime cards, but wanted this Citibank card)
Call 1-301-733-5501 and request to speak with a supervisor to over-ride the denial and submit your application for re-evaluation.
