DaveLV: thanks for the history. Looks like I still have ways to go but there is light at the end of the tunnel.

    Best regards,

    Dave,

Congratulations on everything. Those are some impressive new accounts.

I think your Experian score is better with the new inquiries. A score of 666 is bound to hurt you in the long run, LOL.

I find it interesting that you got a Wal-Mart card 8 months before your score hit 666. Maybe I can get one with my 646 Credit Expert score. I haven't been able to get anything yet from Monogram, which seems to pull exclusively from Experian.

I responded to a pre-approval for Walmart. I just figured it would be good to have a retail card. I have to force myself to shop there to maintain activity on the card. I can't stand Walmart and would never have applied for the card on my own.

Surely you don't mean you'd rather be a target?

    (cardholder that is.)

    F.Y.I. WAL*MART CARD HAS 0.00% FOR ~3 MONTHS WITH PURCHASE OF $199.00...
If you only have $147.67 in your cart, it would be economically worthwhile to put $51.33 on a gift card.

TARGET (EVERYBODY GETS $200.00) vs $1,400.00 (WAL*MART started for me).

    Re: SD and Citibank

I see they more than doubled my credit limit without me even asking them for it
