I applied for a Citibank Platinum Card online. A few days later I called customer to check on the application status, and I was told that it would take them two weeks to give me an answer. My credit is good I have a 690 beacon score ,and no lates. I already have American Express Blue Card and Chase Platinum Card . My question is : Why would it take so long for them to give me an answer? Please help!!!!
Citi is not FICO score driven. Internal history and profit score are big decision factors........Or, it could be as simple as they are busy.
