Citibank Question

    Hi Everyone!

    I applied for a Citibank Travelocity CC about 2 weeks ago. When I call to check the status of the application they tell me they have not made a decision yet. I saw some other posts here where people had called the same day and they told them they were declined. This has been almost 2 weeks and they continue to tell me they haven't made a decision?!? Anyone know what that means? Thanks in advance...

    Sorry Lucy it must be frustrating. I have dealt with Citibank before but not through this card. They have always told me almost immediate if I was approved or not. Maybe this division of cards works differently??

    Is there any other number you could try and call, since this number isn't getting you anywhere??

    btw, when you get a denial its from travelers bank not the normal citibank letter. I received one 7 days after applying in the mail.

    I have called 888-544-9882, 800-555-5345, 302-451-6100, 877-602-2484, 301-733-5501, and I get the same answer from every one! I just don't understand it, everyone else here seems to get an immediate response.

    You applied at the same time I did, and I haven't received a letter in the mail yet!

    Well i got one, It was from travelers bank (this is a world card) And it said what i expected it to say. big phat no.

    What state do you live in and where was the letter mailed from? I live in Florida?

    Lucy i haven't received anything either. i called the 18005449882 and was told it could take up to a month to get a response.

    Citibank USA is not Citbank. Citibank USA is formerly Travelers Bank. That bank issues Quicken card, Netscape card.

    Well I received my letter yesterday, declined as usual. No surprise, I have a lot of work to do on the credit reports...
