there should be none, because I paid it off over 6 months ago. I have tried to dispute it as paid in full, but it always come back verified and this time it came back as a larger amount. In addition, there was a judgment on this account that still is reporting as not being satisfied.

    I am furious.!!!!!

What, if any is my recourse? I recently refied and because that stuff is still on there my scores are lower and I had a higher rate than I might have gotten otherwise.

Can I sue, and if so under what grounds, and for how much?

I am so angry I can barely see straight.
    Thanks for your assistance.

***Why was there a judgment when there was no balance ?

Poor sentence structure. There was a judgment. Then I paid it off.

Did they verify your CRA dispute before you refinanced?

Yes they have several times. This time there is a new balance, and a now higher past due amount.

Additionally, they have been reporting activity on the card even though it has been inactive for over 2.5 years.

    ontrack,
How would we know if they verified during dispute? Would the bank be able to tell us that, since they pulled the report??

    -thanks-
I have a very similar situation.
