Just applied for a Citibank AA card. In the last two months I have applied for and rec'd a platinum select $7k and a div. rewards card $5k. The AA card was rejected because they said I had a history of late payments with citibank. I had a problem with them in 1987. (paid chargeoff) Since then no lates at all, no problems. Been AU on wifes' $15k platinum for 4 years with no lates. According to CS they still have a notation that one of my cards was under "attorney control". Anyone have any experience with this, and how do I get it removed. It's not a CR problem, long since dropped off, it was over 15 years ago.
