Please respond and let us know whether you got a phone call to verify anything before they sent you the card. Personally, they didn't call me for anything. This was back in 1992 and I started out by mailing in a secured application w/ $300.
It's a waste of time to apply for the citi Secured, it is not reported to the credit bureaus for 18 months and then they will only double you limit ($600). It's much better that you build or rebuild your credit with another card and then to apply for the citi Aadvantage or another Citi card.
