    CITIBANK SOUTH DAKOTA

    AT&T is that "other" division...
    and the "gas" cards...

So, if I saw a citi fsb on my experian report under soft inquiries, it's safe to assume it is a promo inquiry?

The former is their regular banking division.
The latter is citigroup's citibank (SD), N.A. - their CC division.

C2it is kinda like paypal. You can transfer money from your cc's to your c2it acct, and then send it to someone, of transfer to your own accts. If you do a search, there is a few threads on this.

Read the disclosure closely - they are also offering a line of credit to some people now.

When I signed up, I got the ID check type of inquiry. But they weren't offering the line of credit then.

Unless I am missing it, I can't find anything regarding a loc.

*We will not charge a transaction fee when you send cash to someone within the U.S. using your bank account or credit card. If you have established a c2it line of credit, you will incur finance charges if you choose to fund your transaction from that credit line. Transaction fees will apply for sending money to someone outside the U.S. Your credit card company may assess a finance charge and fee each time you send money.

    1. Citibank reserves the right to check your credit history at enrollment (including for the purpose of determining whether we will offer you additional Citibank products and services), verify any of the information you provide, and obtain follow-up credit reports on you.

Citibank USA = co-brand & rewards cards (the old Traveler's Bank & Associates Bank)

    Citibank SD = Citi's traditional V/MC cards (including Diner's)

CRSI = Citicorp Retail Services Inc. - store cards (Kohl's and others)

Citibank FSB = retail banking NON-NYC (branches in IL, FL, CA, etc.) ... also this is the "bank" that handles c2it, and as stated previously, they do a soft inquiry.

I'm wondering if anyone knows if this list has changed. It appears that our business credit (plat select w/pg and staples/office depot with no pg) are from "citibank usa n.a." The card with the pg pulled eq. Someone mentioned that the citibank out of san antonio (all the above 3 accounts were not from s.d. or s.a.) pulled TU. Does anyone know which card(s) this would be and if they are for biz? Thanks!

Old Associates cards never were part of Citibank USA. They were merged straight into Citibank SD.

Old Hurley State Bank retail cards were transferred to Citibank USA.

Diners Club was issued by Citibank SD; has been transferred to Citibank USA.

Hilton HHonors card was issued by Citibank USA; has been transferred to Citibank SD.

So it sounds like there isn't a division in San Antonio that pulls TU for credit apps?

    Amy B,

I honestly haven't heard of it. There's New Jersey, South Dakota, Hagerstown MD...all parts of Citibank SD. But I've never heard of a San Antonio division.

On the other hand, if you know something about San Antonio and share it, then I'll learn something I didn't know.
