    I just got my Equifax report and it showed my Citibank Driver Edge has been closed .I combined my Citibank Driver Edge and AAdvantage last month.

    "Closed by consumer" or "closed by creditor" ?

    Sarr,it's "closed by consumer" and with 0 balance.

    Thanks.

    This proves again that the best way to get a substantial credit increase (if initially denied) is to apply for another Citi card, then combine cards (and limits).

    On a side note, Jo had an easy time increasing her Citi credit limit, but that required lots of negotiations w/ their Retention department.
