Does citibanks privacy policy say they can sell your info to 3rd party telemarketers and other annoying people unless you tell them not to? I don't understand the language they use in their privacy policy.

That is PROBABLY what it says...

You can send a letter to every credit card/loan company (and utilities)...saying something like "I DON'T WANT MY NAME OR ADDRESS OR PHONE NUMBER SOLD OR GIVEN FOR FREE TO ANY COMPANY FOR SOLICITATION PURPOSES INCLUDING ONES YOU OWN"

    from citibanks website:

"We will tell customers in plain language initially, and at least once annually, how they may remove their names from marketing lists. At any time, customers can contact us to remove their names from such lists. "

hmm howcome I haven't been annually notified about how to remove my name from marketing lists in plain language.
