Someone mentioned this as BK friendly in a recent post. Is this for homeowners or also for buyers, particularly first-time buyers? When I checked the site, it looked like it was for homeowners b/c they only had references to refinancing and home equity loans. Maybe I missed something? I'm interested in buying my first home soon so any help you can offer (post-BK, 6 months) would help! Thanks! http://www.homebuyerscredithelp.com/Index.html?row1col2=Contact.html this is a better option than citifinancial, they are crooks. high fees and no service, they love to foreclose for any little reason and charge you out the a** not to. stay away
There are quite a few post bk friendly lenders. The EASIEST and most thourough way to do it is contact a borker. "oh yes Will, and that's because you are a broker!".......this is because ONE lender has ONE post BK program...where a broker has several lenders with one BK program......the more choices available the better in your situation. And for reference I have not heard any negative things (until now) about citibank but I don;t use them myself .
Thanks...I checkout out your web site already. You don't do business in Maryland, unfortunately. Can you offer me some help or at least point me in the right direction? thanks much!
I actually do know of a guy in maryland and if you email me I can give you his contact info. Remember though...always check a few brokers out.......and shop me, a referral.......or even your brother to make sure you get the best deal.
Not citibank, Citifinancial mortgage. big difference, From what I see citifinancial is a subprime predatory lender, check the lawsuits against them, they put me over a barrell and I almost lost my house, I started with them at 13.9% and only through a lot of hard work and letter writing was I able to get it down to only 9%. 0% today is wayyyyyy high even for a subprime loan, shop a broker and see what they can do, and did i mention 3 points loan origination plus 8800 dollars closing cost on a 92000 loan
