Hi there... I need advise..... Send validation letter to Citifinancial (CA) on April 30th and today I rec'd a letter stating from CA which states the following: .. In reference to the above account, Citifinacial sold this account to bla bla bla. Cirifianacial will notify the three major credit bureaus to update as "Sold to bla bla bla:. Please forward all corresponsence and payment to bla bla... Now my questions is as follows: 1. Should I demand Citifinancial to remove the Charged off account not reporting under account was sold to bla bla bla. or can I demand perm deletion from my CR? 2. Back on 99/2000 I send letter of dispute (regular mail) directly with Citifinancial (CA) but never send validation letter. I was not aware of my rights (newbie). 3. I also send letter of validation to the new CA. Still waiting for respond. Please direct me to the right direction.... Thank you!

This morning I checked w/exp under disputes and Citifiancial has not disputed claiming that they would. Oh by the way, the OC is not listed on my CRA. Detail from my CRA...... This account is scheduled to continue on record until 12-2006.This item was verified on 11-2002. QUOTE...the letter that I rec'd from Citifinaical states that the account was sold/transfer on March 28, 2002. Should I also send V.L to CRA?
