I have 2 Citi cards with ZERO balances, I get no BT offers of any kind. My hubby has a card with 5K balance and 9K limit, he gets 3.9 BT with no fees?? Can anyone explain this one LOL???

    yes i did this before.

Your have a score with citi. Its based on profitability.

You make citi rich by holding balances month to month.

You make citi rich by charging bundles month to month.

The richer you make citi, the better offers you get. This is what a rep told me. Those who use the card, alot, make them alot of money. Thus they can offset their profit in BT's and still come out on top.

Citi's profitability rating is called "M2 score". See if the rep would give you a hint how good your M2 score is. Of course, you can always call "R" to see if they can make you a BT offer.

Well Ha! I used hubby's BT rate with them for me, so I got it anyway, but I will be calling to see what is up.
