Shortly afterwards, the Millettâ??s began to experience problems obtaining credit, but did not know the reason. They contacted CSC, but were not given any information. Over the next 13 years, they continued to experience problems and eventually realized that Stevenâ??s Social Security number was being used illegally. They contacted law enforcement authorities to correct the problem. However, CSC refused to cooperate and continued disseminating false information. The Millettâ??s allege that CSC collected and furnished information about them which was inaccurate, false, erroneous and misleading, despite notices about the alleged fraud and reported the information to consumer reporting agencies.
