I wish you all the luck in the world. I would REALLY like to see these extremely corrupt CRA's beaten down.

Denise, as you no doubt know since you've been emeshed in this industry the past few years that the CRA's will report anything about anybody, the truth be damned, as long as a company pays the fee.

The FCRA is ignored countless times daily as a petty, insignificant nuisance so it will be up to you and your lawyer to get the judge to follow through and enforce the act. Also, as you are no doubt aware any victory on your part will lead to an immediate appeal. The CRA's have far too much to lose and you best be prepared to take it all the way to the Supreme Court.

Nevertheless, as others have demonstrated, victory is very possible.

I very much agree with you. The FCRA is not at all the tool that Congress intended it to be. The FCRA needs to be enforced/amended to carry the weight it needs to hold creditors and the CRA's accountable. The attorney I mentioned above, that just filed a suit in Washington is requesting other victims of these agencies to contact him. I wish him success. I always wondered when some attorney would stand up and take them on in a class action. As far as my case goes, yes, I am sure they will appeal but I am willing to go to the Supreme Court, if that's what it takes to obtain justice. Corporations should not be held to any less standard than consumers. If our actions are reckless and cause damages we must pay the consequences for our actions. We all teach our children that we have to be accountable for our actions. Yet, Goliath corporations seem to think they can put their heads in the sand while they are injuring consumers, and then actually believe they should NOT have to pay for the consequences. I for one am tired of being their victim and will not give up my pursuit for our consumer rights! Thanks for your support Steve.
