But what are you doing to age of accounts and to your ratios? You need to watch more than number of accounts. Sometimes it's better to keep them open and "sock drawer" them.
I don't know if pixie dust is sprinkled on the offers and I go into a trance, or what. But, I am drawn to "0%" and "No payment or interest for X." When I moved across the country, I walked into a furniture store and walked out with zero payments and interest until 2005. I never opened my checkbook. When it's that easy, the cards will pile up.
