Does closing alot of CC accounts in a shorth time have a negative impact on score?

I have 5 secured accounts. All about 1-1.8 years old.

The past 6 months i have got 3 cards with decent limits and apr;s and the big No annual fee.

All my 5 secured accounts are sub-prime crap.

    Merrick Bank
    First premier bank
    First national bank of Marin
    First natioanl bank of Brookings
    First consumers national bank

I have closed 3 of these accounts within the last 2 weeks.

These banks could care less about you. I have perfect payment history. I have done everything paid them off every month, charge them up keep a balance, let them make money off interest.

So i figured i would have some leverage with threating to close the accounts to get better deals.

Can i make this account into a regular account and get my deposit back. Sorry we dont do that. you have to close this one and apply for A non sercured. YEAH RIGHT.

Can you waive my annual fee? Sir when you signed up for this card you read the fee's and rules. We charge this amount to maintain this account and report it to the CRA's.

Can you lower my apr. Sorry sir that is the lowest allowed for a secured account. yeah 21% is such a great deal. BS.

Then i say i want to close my account. Whats the reason sir. Yeah i fricken wonder you moron. I say i have 4.

what a friggen joke. they dont give two shits. They close the account within minutes. Good riggins of these shit cards.

    ahhhhhhhhh.

It probably will hurt your score some but why should you care. The main thing is you're closing accounts that are costing you money to keep open. Any loss in points will be temporary. You're moving on. That's the good news.
