Closing on a property today... Just found out the title company will be holding $5k in escrow for me because a "small wall" has to be built between the electric and the water... or something like that... came up on the title, every year the Fire Dept. comes for the inspection, they issue the same violation becuase it was never taken care of.... Well.... I'll have it fixed as soon as possible.... and can I please have my $5k...... Please?! oh, and I'm not using a lawyer this time, my first time without a lawyer. I know the sellers attorney and banks attorney, and although they cant "represent" me, they will both try to help me out......
OK... closed.... thank g-d..... now I have to meet the tenants and fix/fill the two vacancies... My steep learning curve, hope it's enjoyable.
