Got home today and there was a note from CMI for a certified letter. I think this is Credit Management not sure though. What are they trying to do???? I have no plans to retrieve the mail at all.

I would get it. If not you may find a judgement on your records and I believe you can not claim improper service just because you did not pick up certified mail.

That is just my opinion though...after ignoring the CRRR letters in the 80's I learned it is better to know than not to know and ignore things.

I am not sure...is there a debt you had that may be sent to CMI? Why do you think this is Credit Management? is CMI their abbreviation?

No reason to speculate, sign the card and leave it for your postal deliverer to pick up, or pick it up at the post office. Like I said, once you know you can act upon it...not knowing it will just come back to bite you.

It's not like it is a letter bomb or anything, it can not "hurt" you.

Again my opinion anyone else think picking up CRRR is bad?

I would never ignore certified mail. Better to deal with it, head on.
