I just received a call from one of my credit card issuers. Somebody was trying to charge 300.00 onto a cobalt credit card with my account.
I thought Cobalt Card was closed. I know I received something a couple months back saying it couldn't be used past November something???
    Any thoughts????

Could be fraud. And for $300.00 even, it might be someone trying to get cash out of an ATM. The common limit on ATM transactions is $300.00, common enough that a thief would pick exactly that amount to withdraw.

That is wierd. The question is, how did they get your credit card number? Next time it might not be something they would catch like the Cobalt card.

There are a lot of fraudulent transactions going on with Citibank and Chase right now - they are saying cards have been "cloned."
