   I have a paid collection account that is reporting as $0 balance. It is also reporting as an open account. Shouldn't it show as closed, since it is paid.
   
   Is this counting against me, should I dispute it??

   I would dispute it as "not mine". Even if the account reports as "closed" it's still a derog.
