Awhile back I got a letter from a collection agency claiming that I had an unpaid account with MCI. The collection people (RMA) attached a little form to send back if I disputed the account and stated that they would send me proof of the debt if I requested it. Of course I did, since I do not remember ever having an account with MCI. Well now it has been more than a month and I have not heard anything back from them. I don't need this showing up on my credit report...I have enough bad stuff already. What should I do?
