Collection Agency Balance ?

    Last year I had a small balance from State Income Tax (246.00).
    The Department Of Revenue turned it over to a collection agency.
    I paid the Revenue Department In full.
    The collection agency keeps sending me bills for $36.25.
    Must I pay them?
    It is not the money, it's just the point of it.

    Send them a dv letter.

    You might also try to talk to someone over at the Dept. of Revenue to see if they can pull the account back from the CA.
