Hi: I just received a letter from a collection agency saying a owe 88.00 to some business called Able sanitation. Then I remembered about a year ago I rented a portable toilet for my daughters birthday. I did all transactions through the phone and paid with my credit card through the phone. Now out of nowhere they send this to a collection agency. I know I can go back to my credit card statements and find proof that I paid, but did they already report this to the credit reporting companys? Can they report to my credit report with out my social security #, If I don't find the credit card statement with the charge, can I dipute it since I never signed a contract? Any help would be greatly appreciated. This board is great! aAout 8 months ago got my citi AA thanks to this board. I've worked alot to build my credit and don't want something like this to mess it up. Thanks again!
