Please help! what is the next step when you send out letters asking for verification on an account and it been 30 days and still no response?

I also sent a second letter requesting the information and to this day I haven't received anything.

Dispute with the CRA reporting their tradeline.

If they verify with the CRA, but do not validate to you, they are continuing collection, which if you have requested validation within 30 days of receiving their first contact, is a FDCPA violation.

I presume you sent your letters CRRR. If so, you can determine whether they received them either by getting your green card back, or by checking on the Post Office website using your certified number for online confirmation.

Is this in response to a collection letter, or a TL on your CR with no collection letter? Do you have any idea of what the original account was for, and when it went delinquent, or do you believe it is a misidentified account that is not yours?
