Received notice from ID theft that a colleciton agency has put a collection on my credit report. I am unaware of any debts outstanding that i owe. Never been contacted.

Shold I contact Collection agnecy? If so how much info should i give them.

Dispute it with the Credit Bureau?

    Thanks for any advice.

Don't do anything just yet. Let the collection agency contact you fiirst. Once they send you something demand a complete validation of the debt. I hope that some other poster here will spell out what a complete and legal validation should consist of.
