I have a chargeoff from 98. it now has been placed with a collection agency dated 06/02. when will this debt fall off?
Just to show you there is no hard feelings, I'll answer your question. If the acct was charged off in 98, the date of last activity was most likely a few months before the charge off date. It will fall off 7 years from the date of last activity, not when the ca got the acct. So, sometime in 2005.

Believe it or not i have learned alot. I have used the good will letter , nut case letter, and the c&d. I really do think they should charge for the info on this board.
