ok we got my husbands credit report and there is a collection account on there saying we owe $34 to a radiology place. this is ours i called the place and they said we owed that so i sent a check and they sent it back and said we dont owe anything. they had sent it to collections may of last year!! we have never received anything from this collection place it doesnt even say the name of the place on the credit report just where we owe the money to. so anyway my question is should i call this collection place and pay this so it will be listed as paid on his report or should i just keep trying to send it to the radiology place and hope they accept it?? any other suggestions? i would appreciate any help on this.

Ask them why you do not owe anything. If they said it was paid by you, so be it-it should have not been sent to a CA. If they say a CA bought it or it was assigned to a CA, then ask them to pull it back from the CA so that you can deal with the OC only and get them to remove the CA listing from your report.

    5*Don't do either!
10*Send the CA a validation letter.
i sent a check and they sent it back and said we don't owe anything. Then don't pay anything and hang onto this letter.
15*Then why would you do this; call this collection place and pay this so it will be listed as paid on his report or should I just keep trying to send it to the radiology place and hope they accept it??
Paid or not it is still a very bad mark on you.

Whats the matter brown, can't you figure out how to make the quote function work for you?
Let's see if I can show you how it's done.

First of all, any function must begin with the right facing square bracket. [
Then the word quote like this[quote
and then you have to finish off the quote with the left facing square bracket.

You did that in the message where you properly closed it off. So in the first one you just forgot one of the brackets at the start and you can't use caps. Has to be in lower case.

    Otherwise it don't work.

Seems to me it would be a bit hard to call them if you don't know who to call.

So in the first one you just forgot one of the brackets at the start.

    Didn't forget.
    The bracket accidentally got deleted.
