I have 3 collections on my credit reports , two from one company and one from another, all of them are very small amounts $102, $108 and $35. Im wondering if there is a way I can pay them off and have them removed from my credit reports ? I have read several posts about something called PFD'S and was wondering if I can use them. Can someone please tell me how a PFD works and where do I get one and do I send it in to the credit agencies? Im really confused about this. Thanks in advance.

What you would do is fill out the PFD form, there are several to chose from, fill in the information, offer to pay the full balance and mail it off to them. If they accept it they will sign and mail it back to you. If you don't get anything back, then you could assume they didn't accept it. Send it CMRR or at least with delivery confirmation.
