Please tell me how to find out if Midland Credit Management can collect in Texas. They put there tradeline collection on the credit report after I requested validation. This is a MBNA account that is not ours. I thought this nightmare was over with when I got the MBNA tradeline off the credit report. Also they did hard inquiries on all credit reports and the account was never ours. the card was sent to an address that was not ours. I don't understand how they had PP for this.

Thanks, Nana C. I appreciate all the help I have gotten from this board. Everyone has been very helpful and given me very good advice. Our credit report was finally correct, after 22 months until this showed up. I resent that the credit bureau's will allow these collection agencies to pull credit reports when they have no PP. Our personal information as been sent to 3 different collection agencies since this all started. I feel this has had left with more possibilities of more cards opened without us knowing, until after the fact. Thanks again

They are bonded in Texas. What letter do I need to send them to remove the tradeline since it is not ours? This is an account that we did not open. I sent a validation letter to Midland in Sept and they never sent me anything .They pulled a hard inquiry on all three and put the tradeline on eqf and exp. I haven't heard from tu yet.
