They offer many different credit cards...some it seems for people just starting out (500 limit) Anyone ever heard of them, know anything about them? CRA agency they use? score driven?

I never had an account with CBT, but apparently they feel I owe them $1,800 which is what they have listed on one of their reports. I am in my 3rd dispute of this item, and hopefully it comes off. I never did business with them nor do I ever plan to.

I have had a problem with them too. They have decided to do several inquiries on my equifax credit report. And what is the more bizarre is that they are doing soft ones too. As A/R, but i have no account. No account is listed. Nothing.

Yes, this CBT is based in Atlanta. They have several address. Check out the BBB website on Aspire Visa in GA. That gives you an idea what you would be in for.

If I were you, I'd stay away from them. I had a card that was known as "Option Visa." Well they were bought out by Aspire (CB&T). This happened years ago.

During my time with Aspire, I could never speak with a live person, so I can say their customer service is non-existant. Because of this, I cancelled the card last year.

This year when I pulled my credit reports, on all 3 they list as them being the ones that cancelled the account. Also they had lates showing 5 times 60 days and 3 times 90 days late when I was never late.

When I disputed this is Equifax, it came back varified. I redisputed and from what I can see on PG, lates no longer show, but Cancelled by Grantor still does and my limit, high balance and payment history is gone.

I'm now going to have to wait for my EQ report to see exactly what is now showing.

Unless you don't want the option to speak with a live person at CB&T, do not take the card.

EQ and CB&T really make me mad. EQ makes me mad because what they sent to me via their Credit Watch is wrong. I just found this out by calling them and their rep tells me that nothing on the tradeline has changed. And CB&T makes me mad because they have these lates on my report, when they know dang well it's erronious!
