Although I only receoved the welcome letters for my Citi silver and gold, I couldn't stand it any more so called and combined the cards. I requested that both cards be converted to a Citi AA plat select. Bingo, no problem . Now the greed sets in........... Has anyone, after combining the Citi silver and gold, ever gone back to the Citi site and re-applied for one of their cards.Seems too easy or it is most likely the system will catch on. Any thoughts? Iv LKH, did you combine?
ALWAYS apply for both the silver and gold AA at the same time. Back to back. You might be none, one, or two, but you'll only get hit ONCE.
technically i recommend immediately there after. As 20 minutes might be too long if the first application was done say at 11:40pm 'jes messing with ya.
My hubby got 2 inquires (one for each card) and I got 4 inquires (one for each card even though I only wanted 2 cards). We applied for gold within 2 minutes of applying for silver. Ozzy.
I also have gotten two inquires for each application and no card at all!!. I have received three times last year the letter which say that I have reached the max numbers of Citi cards available for an individual (I currently have two cards)
