Hi all, I would like to transfer the CL from my Optima Platinum card to my Blue card. Anyone know which number I should call ??? Is it the regular customer service number or a special number ??? Thanks.
For those interested, while a new AMEX revolving account is still in the New Accounts Dept. (I'm not sure how long that is), a personal revolving line can be combined into an existing business revolving line. We just did this, closing the personal blue (about 8 months old) and adding the CL to the new business blue (about 2 months old). The key seems to be the age of the accounts. I do know the switch can't be done if the accounts are old enough that they no longer appear in New Accounts' system. For the original poster, just call the regular customer service number and ask to be transferred to the New Accounts Dept., that's how we reached them. DemPooches
