What would be the most succesful way of combining 2 cap1 cards I have a visa 1800cl and a mc 1800cl with both cards @13.9%, before I've had no leverge against cap1 as they were the only cards I had to use but now I have the citi AA card with a 6000.00cl, I have my eye on the cap1 plat. card any suggestions? In the process of rebuilding my credit I aquired two Cap 1 cards that each required a small security deposit. I decided that it didn't make sense to pay two annual fees so I contacted cap 1 and they agreed to transfer the credit limit, balance, and security deposit from one card to the other and then close the first account.
