Combining Fleet Cards... Anyone?

    I have two Visa Plat Cards from Fleet. The customer serv Dept says that it can not been combined into one card.

    Has anyone tried to combine them ?

    Did you ask what the logic is???

    CARD # 1 $3,000
    CARD # 2 $6,000

    COMBINE $9,000 ON ONE CARD

    What is so hard about that???

    $9,000 before $9,000 after.

    MY WIFE DID IT ON CAPITAL ONE...BUT THEY CALLED IT A CREDIT LIMIT INCREASE!!!

    HUH???

    REGULAR CSR'S MAY NOT KNOW ANY BETTER...

    Yes, That is, very simple. Almost every creditors do that, but Fleet says that they do not combine cards.

    Anyone?
