    Does this apply to misrepresentation on caller id?

    "3. Relation to other sections. A debt collector who uses a false business name in a phone call to conceal his identity violates section 807(14), as well as this section."

    Sue them for it and find out. The problem is, you would have to figure out how to print the Caller ID screen info so the Judge can look at it.

    Well, the unit is battery operated; the unit could be presented as evidence before a judge.

    You could get a picture of the caller id screen...just in case the batteries were to run out.
