I sent out a validation letter to one of the CA's listed on my CR. Since receiving my validation letter they have left a message on my machine. Should I return the call or do I cease all verbal communication with them until I receive validation from them?
It was a computerized message stating for me to call 1-800-xxx-xxxx and use my telephone number as a reference #.
1*Should I return the call 2* or do I cease all verbal communication with them until I receive validation from them? dmplz618 ============= 1*NO 2*Rule 1 when dealing with a ca is never talk to them on the phone. ------------------------------------------- Click on the validation link below.See the green words. ----------------------------------------
Re: Re: Communication After Valid.lttr.sent If it was a collection call made after they signed the green crrr card this is their first FDCPA $1000 violation since they have not validated the debt. Keep this call on your set as evidence. How much is the debt??
"IF" you ever call a CA (shouldn't really call)...do it from a PHONE BOOTH!!!!!!! DON'T GIVE THEM HOME PHONE NUMBER (IF YOU CALL--THEY HAVE CALLED ID+) THEY GET YOUR PHONE NUMBER EVEN IF YOU BLOCK IT...OR HAVE AN UNLISTED NUMBER!!!
Re: Re: Communication After Valid.lttr.sent THEY GET YOUR PHONE NUMBER George ================= I think they have his # they put a message on his set . THE END ** *** ** LB 59
Re: Re: Re: Communication After Valid.lttr.sent I KNOW THEY LEFT A MESSAGE...but if you call...call from a PAY PHONE Get their address you can sent them a NO PHONE CALLS LETTER...or ask---->WHAT DO WANT????
