I have complained about multiple CAs and CRAs. Nothing has happened yet. The FTC needs a number of the same complaints against the same CA and CRA before they will take action so, COMPLAIN!
I complained about FNBM and cc'd FNBM pres, OCC and FTC. Next day, FNBM called (pres's office) and gave me everything I wanted! :)

    Hey !ScMomof5,

    You said everything...................?
Then you probably should ask for plenty of money.

It's important to complain, I believe, whether you see any action from the FTC or not.

First, a number of complaints about one company and they will take action.

Second, and perhaps more important, the types of complaints they receive are categorized and presented each year to the government in their annual report.

The complaints keep the FTC in touch with us, without complaints, they may think the system is working just fine and would have no consumer redress or confirmation of rebuttals to proposed regulatory changes from the corporate thieves and bullies.

I complained to every regulatory agency I could find about Asset Acceptance. I did it by mail and the FTC wrote a letter back that said they do keep track of all the complaints and the info. will logged into their system. It was all the copies of the letters I wrote to them. And all the CRRR and delivery confirmation receipts.

So I would complain to whomever I could find, it I were you.

Are you talking about First National Bank of Marin?
If so, did you read my post a couple weeks past about how the BBB said if a consumer did business with FNBM, it was at their own risk. Seems they are not licensed to do business.

I contacted the FTC, BBB, State of FL Dept of Banking and Finance, Hillsborough Co consumer protection agency. I didn't contact the State of MI Atty Gen. because they deleted before I could.

I mailed everything, I didn't do online or fax.

No, the controller's did nothing to help. I had already had it removed before they responded.

Where is the CA located? Try to get them in the state they are in. Some states have tougher laws than others. Unfortunately, FL does not have any laws only Federal that's it.
