I hava a quick question. I use PG and there hasn't been any pulls on my CR since Jan of this year and I check my CR several times a week (ok, every day lol) Yesterday I received a copy of my Exp credit report and it shows several pulls, including one company that pulled 3x in one day???? Why the different data - isn't PG accurate? And how can a company pull 3x in one day? Shanyl
Are the pulls you're talking about in the "Requests viewed by others" section of your EX report. PG only shows the hard inquiries, not the soft, and PRM inquiries, which EX groups into the second group of inquiries.
Hi Jam! You know what, you're correct! I was so taken back about this inquiry that I didn't even look. Still, why even do a soft pull ya know? Can I object even a soft pull? They have no business pulling for anything. Shanyl
There was once a case where a company used a real identity to train employees how to use the system to pull. That resulted in a lot of pulls.
Re: Re: Conflicting CR pulls Oh man! Well I'm pretty sure that's not the case here. This OC held my auto loan (it's a credit union) and I filed bk on it back in 1988. They got the vehicle back and there was an outstanding balance - which was discharged in the bk. Therefore, I can't figure why they're doing even a soft pull. Can I still write and ask what their PP was even though it was a soft pull? Shanyl
Re: Re: Conflicting CR pulls A pull is a pull. Not sure how the BK plays into the mix, but if the remainder of the 'debt' was forgiven in the BK (so that no $ is currently due to them), then they wouldn't have a PP. Unless you have some other business with them.
That's what I was thinking Jam. And no, no other business. Not wanting to sound stingy here, but I'd like to know if I can request the $1000K for the violation. Shanyl
