I didn't mean to cut up the quote like that, but I agree, this board is the greatest. Congrats to your success.
Might be time to go for the Citibank Silver AA card. Do a search on Back Door Double or BDD. Worked for me. Congratulations!
A hint, based on my own mistakes - don't take every offer you get. Inquiries start building up, and your score will drop. Get maybe two or three cards, and work with them to get your CL increased, rate lowered, account upgraded, etc. One day your score will be up there and you will be having to close these subprime accounts, and then that will affect your score. If I had it to do over again, I would never have taken the Associates card, the second Providian card, I would only have one gas card. I probably would not have taken the CapOne card, although many are happy with them, their practice of not reporting the limit is a real pain IMO. CCC's like Citi and B of A do not want to see 5 or 6 subprime accounts when you apply for their card. There you are with, all that open credit (with horrible terms) and their response is "but you have cards you don't use, you don't need another one." I know - I've heard those words. Let me add my congratulations!
