I have decied to enter into a consent judgement with a creditor who is suing me. Will this show up on my credit report.They sent me a paper to sign stating that I owe the money and agree to pay $500 on the first and $200 every month til it is paid for and if I default they can get a judgement against me without notification.It has a place for me to sign,the lawyer to sign and then the judge. My court date is set for july 15 so I would rather pay monthly than get my check garnished. So if anyone knows if this will show up please reply.Thanks
I SUGGEST MAKING THE REPORTING ISSUE PART OF THE AGREEMENT. SOMETHING ALONG THE LINES OF... XXX COMPANY AGREES TO NOT REPORT THIS CONSENTING JUDGEMENT TO ANY CRA SO LONG AS THE MONTHLY PAYMENTS ARE MADE ON THE DATE AS AGREED...I THINK YOU GET THE IDEA...JUST MY SUGGESTION...
